Dr Vahid Farahmand completed his Medical Doctorate (MD) from the Shahid Beheshti Medical University, Iran, in 1993. Following his graduation, he began working in the private and public sectors of Tehran. In 2003, he completed his anesthesiology specialty.

In 2012, Dr Farahmand moved to Australia with his family. As a doctor in Biggera Waters, he is a keen advocate of a holistic approach to medicine and has a profound experience in all aspects of general practice with a particular interest in skin treatment, non invasive procedure, and skin cancer surgery. He is also adept at procedures such as circumcision and blepharoplasty.

His side hobbies include bike riding, cars, and table tennis.
