Dr. Amy is an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist in treating babies and children with developmental, musculoskeletal and neurological issues both in Australia and Hong Kong.
She incorporates her diverse knowledge and experience in the clinical management of children. Most importantly, parents/carers are in partnership with her to work towards their goals. This holistic approach enhances children to maximise their potential and achieve their goals. Dr. Amy has a passion to help children, support their families and strengthen communities. She has cross-cultural experiences and well respects different parenting practices in their cultures.
In addition, Dr. Amy speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Dr. Amy obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (Paediatric Physiotherapy) from The University of Queensland in 2017. Her research focus is on Positional Plagiocephaly (flattened head shape) in babies. She has been awarded a prestigious research award, published 5 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and presented at numerous international and national conferences, workshops and seminars. Her expertise in the prevention and management of Positional Plagiocephaly is both clinical and theoretical. Dr. Amy is awarded a ‘Paediatric Physiotherapist’ titled membership from the Australian Physiotherapy Association since 2008. She is registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
