Matt has been a physiotherapist with Queensland Physiotherapy since March 2018. He graduated from The University of Queensland with First Class Honours, having had experience in hospital, community and private practice settings; covering everything from paediatrics to adults and aged care. Having a background in AFL and netball, he has a particular interest in sports physio, both with amateur and high-level athletes, and with treating pain as well as optimising performance during general exercise. He is passionate about delivering evidence-based, hands-on treatment that is aimed at getting people back to doing what they love as quickly as possible, and is a firm believer in encouraging patients to have an active role in their own goal-setting and treatment.
