Dr Tidemann studied medicine at the Australian National University. She worked as a specialist in training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Canberra Hospital before deciding on General Practice. She has most recently been working at the Sexual Health Clinic.

She has done a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital and has a one year old child.
