After graduating from  medical school in 2007 and practicing medicine  for 5 years moved to Australia to follow my dreams.

She has started her profession in Australia as GP in 2013 in west of Brisbane for 2 years then moved to Sandstone Points since a year ago. She got her fellowship of Australian royal college of general practitioner in 2016. Her  favorite  thing about being a GP is being able to support patients to make positive changes in their lives. Whilst Dr Shanaz  loves all aspects of general medicine, Her special interest areas include; cardiovascular risk assessment, children’s health (pediatrics) , chronic disease management(DM and COPD ), depression and anxiety (Mental Health), diabetes care, elderly health (geriatric), family care, implanon, lifestyle medicine, metabolic diseases, minor surgery and skin  procedural work, musculoskeletal medicine, nutrition and weight management, palliative care, physical, sexual health, travel health and vaccinations, women’s health including reproductive health. She also enjoys travelling and fashion.
