Dr Joanna Starkey graduated medicine from the University of Queensland in 2005 after completing a double degree in Arts and Science with Honours and moved back to Adelaide soon after. Dr Starkey’s clinical background includes eight years of experience in diverse hospital settings as part of Intensive Care training. In 2013 Dr Starkey transitioned from Intensive Care to General Practice training and graduated as a Fellow of the RACGP in 2015, joining the Stirling Central Health Clinic as a permanent GP in 2016. Dr Starkey enjoys all aspects of general practice from caring for babies through to older patients, and is accredited for shared antenatal care.
