Tan Nguyen studied Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2008. He further specialized by obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Dental Therapy and holds post-graduate certifications in clinical education and public health.

Tan’s area of expertise as a 12 year long practicing oral health therapist in Coburg North lies in teledentistry, public dental health and children dentistry.

Aside from being an accomplished dental practitioner, Mr Nguyen is a highly experienced researcher who has presented at various dental conferences around the globe and has several peer-reviewed publications to his name.

He also happens to be a past President of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists’ Association.

Apart from work, Tan enjoys futsal, fishing and soccer.
