Ivan has been an active sport physiotherapist for more than 20 years. After completion of his physiotherapy qualification, he continued his physiotherapy development by completing his Diploma of Sport Sciences Physiotherapy from the University of Bergen, and thereafter his Post Graduate Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the Lincoln Institute. Ivan has had extensive physiotherapy experience with the Carlton Football Club and elite international tennis players. He is currently the Davis Cup physiotherapist.

Since 1988, Ivan has been the active Head Physiotherapist for the Australian Open Tennis Tournament.
He has a keen interest in hip/groin and shoulder conditions as well as, the postsurgical rehabilitation process for hip and shoulder. He works in close association with leading Orthopaedic Surgeons in these fields.
