Dr James Powers is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He graduate of Newcastle University Australia
and has been practicing medicine since 1998.
After an Initial stint in remote Emergency medicine and trauma medicine including working as a ships Doctor in Antarctica, he switched to General Practice in 2002 and has been a fellow of the college since 2005.
Dr Powers has an interest preventative medicine, skin cancer, mental health, paediatrics and chronic illness.
He also am a Director  and part owner of MEDSTOCK, a medical dressing company and thus has a great interest and understanding of chronic wounds and their management.
