Dr Irene Grigoris is a dermatologist with extensive experience in managing a broad range of problems relating to the skin and its associated structures. She has expertise in all areas of paediatric, adult, medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr Grigoris graduated with first class honours in medicine from the University of Sydney in 1986. She completed a Master’s degree in human papilloma virus research in 1992 and received her fellowship with the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1992.
In 1993, Dr Grigoris undertook advanced surgical training and completed a Mohs surgical fellowship at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Westmead. In addition, she is a fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and has had a rural dermatology practice in the Riverina since 1994. She is a visiting medical officer at Griffith Base Hospital.
Dr Grigoris is a senior lecturer in dermatology at the University of New South Wales and the University of Wollongong. She instructs medical students from the UNSW, UOW and John Flynn Rural Program. She trains rural dermatology registrars from the Skin and Cancer Foundation in the Riverina.
Dr Grigoris also speaks conversational Greek and Italian.
