Dr. Anthony Keane graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1979 with 2nd class honours. He worked for 3 years at the St. George Hospital, Sydney then travelled and worked overseas, where he obtained his Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians, London.

On returning to Australia, Dr. Keane worked in general practice in St. Mary's and Granville before joining Hunters Hill Medical Practice in 1987. He was admitted as a Fellow of the RACGP in 1993 . Tony is married with 3 children and still plays a reasonable game of soccer. When not at work, he also enjoys bushwalking, cycling and gardening.

In addition to general medicine, Dr. Keane has a special interest in preventative health care, as well as paediatrics and seniors care.
