David de Bhal was born in Ireland and educated at Trinity College Dublin. He received his clinical training at Dr Steevens' Hospital in Dublin. David came to Brisbane in 1977 and has been involved in General Practice since except for a year as Medical Registrar at The Prince Charles Hospital. He is a Foundation Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 1984.
