Dr Karen Shaw graduated as a general practitioner from University of Queensland in 1983 with special interest in preventative medicine. Her interest in preventative practices resulted from her desire to seek better treatment methods to improve the quality of life of her patients. 

Karen spent 11 years working as a General Practitioner in Logan City and a further 6 years in a group practice at Coorparoo before joining Healthy Women Medical Centre. 
Dr Shaw specializes in women’s health and desires to support her patients to a happier, healthier life
