Dr Jagath Seneviratne started his career in medicine after graduating from Sri Lanka in 1994. 

He has had prior experience working with hospitals in Sri Lanka and also with the NHS in the UK, before beginning his career in the Australian Hospital System in 2006. He joined Lismore Base Hospital in 2006 and gathered seven years of experience across various fields of medicine. 

Before joining Irymple medical centre he was working as a GP in Australia last 10 years.
