Olivia completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2018.

Originally from Switzerland, Olivia came to Australia for study. Prior to medicine, Olivia obtained a PhD in medical science and was involved in research, teaching and curriculum development at a tertiary level over a 10-year period. The last two academic appointments were with the Australian National University in Canberra, and subsequently at the University of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby.

More recently, Olivia has worked at the Bunbury Regional Hospital where she developed a keen interest in general medicine and particularly in the areas of preventative medicine, geriatrics and palliative care.

After extensive travel associated with her science career, Olivia has now settled in the South West with her husband and two teenage girls. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys spending time in the garden and with her horses.

Olivia is fluent in English, German and Italian.
