Dr Sara Li completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Adelaide, and is a Fellow (GDP) of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS).

Dr Sara is friendly and caring towards her patients and colleagues. She takes pride in building a trusting relationship with her patients while providing high quality, up-to-date, evidence- based dental care to patients. Her bubbly personality and humour often lighten the mood of anxious patients.

Apart from general dentistry, Dr Sara worked as a house dentist of the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Unit in the Royal Adelaide Hospital, which involved minor oral surgery, and dental traumatology. She was a clinical tutor of undergraduate dental students at the University of Adelaide for years. In recognition of her work, she was nominated for the Young Professional of the Year at the SA Health Awards 2016.

Dr Sara presented on dental traumatology (with complex oncological history) at the University of Adelaide- DClintDent endodontic seminar, and delivered a lecture series on dental trauma at Ripe Global (ie a global online dental platform). She was a guest speaker at national dental dental student conference.

Dr Sara is actively involved in the dental community. She served as the President of the Dental Advancement Society (DASI), which is affiliated with the Australian Dental Association (ADA- SA). It is a dental society for general and specialist dentists for continuing professional development. She is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD), Academy of Dentistry International (ADI), and Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA).

In 2023, she was elected as the Hon Secretary of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS)- SA/NT Regional Committee. Then she was invited to join the College- Education Policy Board, which oversees all education programs (general dentists, dental specialties, OMFS training) in the College.

In November 2024, Dr Sara was elected to the Board of Directors of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), demonstrating her commitment to the profession.

Dr Sara is currently developing her special interest in orthodontics (ie Invisalign, and traditional braces), to help patients achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile.
