Dr Hossein Kalantar acquired a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Medical Science in Ahvaz in 2003. He worked extensively in Iran’s leading hospitals as a General Practitioner and as a Senior Medical Officer during 2003 to 2012. Alongside practice, he published two International Papers in the field of kidney and skin diseases as well.

In 2013, Hossein relocated to Australia and continued his practice as a General Practitioner in Nerang Gold Coast. He received his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017.

Dr Kalantar’s vast experience set him apart as a highly competent doctor in Regents Park. He specialises in all aspects of general practice and is keenly interested in Men’s Sexual Health, Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management.

Hossein enjoys spending his spare time in various leisure activities, including mountain climbing.

Dr Hossein Kalantar is multilingual and fluent in English as well as Persian.
