Dr Aaron Lewis always considered himself to be a country boy at heart. He was passionate about learning medicine that made him leave the country. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Griffith University in 2009. He completed his internship, residency and advanced training while working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar in Redcliffe.
The country boy Aaron’s inner self forced him to return and provide his services as a GP to his community. Prior to that, he worked extensively as a GP Registrar in Blackbutt and Kingaroy. He completed his GP training in Kingaroy and became an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018. Finally, he came back to Dayboro to continue his practice as well as to be closer to his family.
As a doctor in Dayboro, Dr Lewis is enthusiastic about working with and caring for people in the community. He specialises in all aspects of general medicine and is passionately interested in Paediatrics and Skin Cancer Surgery. His patients have described him as a very caring doctor who is also very competent and knowledgeable.
Dr Aaron Lewis enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and loves the outdoors as well.
