Dr Tanya McGhee attained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Otago in 2003. After a few years of practise in New Zealand, she relocated to Australia in 2006. She received her fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010. She settled with her family in Cairns in 2013.

Dr McGhee provides optimal services to all her clients and is a renowned GP in Redlynch. She has a special interest in Mental Health, Women’s Health and Child’s Health. She joined the RedLynch Village Medical Centre in 2021. She enjoys providing her patients with high quality care, by getting to know them and understanding their individual health needs.

Other than being a doctor, Tanya is a devoted mother of three children. She loves to spend her spare time with them.
