Dr Alps Thakkar completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 and has since spent years developing her skills and knowledge in all aspects of general, cosmetic & implant dentistry. Alps has been undertaking numerous continuing professional development courses, to keep her abreast with the latest technology and advancement in the field of dentistry.

In 2017, she attained her Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from the University of Sydney and is trained in both the surgical and restorative aspects of it. Then in 2019, she attained the Fellowship, which is the highest academic level of achievement with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr Alps is an accredited provider of Invisalign® and dento-facial botulinum toxin. Comprehensive cosmetic dental care, smile design, porcelain veneers, crowns, fillings, bondings, wisdom teeth extraction, root canal treatment, and emergency dental care also form a subset of her multidisciplinary skills. Currently, Alps is undertaking a mini-residency program in Orthodontics. This will enable her to further expand her scope of practice.

Alps has developed a reputation for clinical excellence, combined with outstanding patient care. She has a calm demeanour, confident composure and relaxed chair side manners with the focus on putting the patient at ease to enable them to make informed decisions and help them have a great looking, happy and healthy smile.

Outside of her work, Alps enjoys bushwalking, photography, rowing, and spending quality time with family & friends.
