Dr Martin Bailey graduated from Sydney University in 1968, becoming a resident medical officer at Liverpool Hospital for 2 years, then practising as a GP in Liverpool for the next 42 years. He developed an interest in lifestyle medicine, and in chronic complex conditions. He was one of the founding directors of the Liverpool Division of General Practice, and is also a Director of Sydney Medical After Hours Service. Other interests include: bushwalking, sailing, trout fishing and grandchildren.
