Dr Carolyn Beaumont graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Melbourne, in 2014. She is also a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Beaumont worked for 2 years at Monash Hospital and did further paediatric and adolescent training in 2016 (Diploma of Child Health). She has a special interest in paediatric and adolescent health, women’s health including contraceptive and fertility counselling, and mental health. Dr Beaumont is also a prescriber of nicotine for vaping, as well as other smoking cessation strategies. She is an experienced doctor in Mentone who has a holistic approach to health and believes that prevention and a healthy lifestyle are of paramount importance in maintaining health.

Before embarking on medical studies as an older student, Dr Beaumont had a previous ‘second life’ as a pianist and piano teacher for over a decade. She has two teenage children and understands the complexities and many health concerns that families encounter.
