Practice Director and proud father of two, Justin graduated from Griffith University in 2008 with his Masters of Physiotherapy. He launched Back In Motion Bundall in 2012 after owning and operating another Back In Motion practice. Justin was raised in Sydney, his father a General Medical Practitioner and he spent one year studying abroad in San Francisco. He is a regular on Gold Coast radio, writes articles for health magazines and lectures nationally to Universities, GP Training QLD and Personal Training schools. He further provides information seminars to local businesses wishing to reduce the risk of injuries at their workplace.
Justin is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), and further member of the Business and Musculoskeletal branches of the APA. He further sits on the board of the Gold Coast Regional branch of the APA and in 2017 and 2018 won the prestigious Back In Motion Most Inspirational Director award (Franchisee of the Year) - the first ever back-to-back winner. In addition to this, he has led his practice to a Gold Coast Business Excellence Award in 2018.
Justin has many areas of specialty including the treatment of BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) and Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD). He uses Clinical Exercise, Shockwave Therapy, Prescription Orthotics and Whole Body Vibration Therapy to ensure a complete rehabilitation. Sports strains and sprains, lower back and neck pain, postural dysfunction and ergonomics (work environment) and management of chronic pain are other specialities.
Justin is one of the few people in Australia recognised by golfing giant Titleist as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI). This enables him the unique opportunity to screen, assess and treat golfers looking to improve their game. He works closely with Surfers Paradise Golf Club to ensure players can hit the ball further and reduce the risk of injury.
Justin cares for London and Rio Olympian and 6x Glasgow Commonwealth Games medallist Cameron McEvoy and ‘Crusty Demons of Dirt’ motor cross star Kain Saul.
Away from physiotherapy Justin enjoys: cricket, rugby union, golf, trying boutique beers and spending time with his wife Monika, and kids Joey & Macy
