Looking for a GP?

Dr John Beshara graduated from Faculty of Medicine in 2006 in Egypt and has since been working in the field of General Medicine and Emergency. Dr John joined the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) in Cairo 10years ago as a GP and in 2014 was promoted to Team Leader to one of the main practices in Egypt.

During his time of working for UNHCR and with the refugees it gave him good experience in dealing with a high flow of traumatized people of different cultures.

Dr John is a family man who in his downtime enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.

Dr John is very passionate about a good doctor patient relationship and believes that a good doctor is someone who listens when a patient needs it. His future plans are to finish his fellowship exams and have more involvement and build relations in the Australian community.

In addition to English John also speaks Arabic & French fluently.

Dr John is available weeknights and weekends for appointments.
