Dr Farid Khan has a long history of involvement in dentistry at all levels. He has co-authored three dental textbooks, most recently co-editing a book through Oxford publishers, Wiley Blackwell. Concurrently Dr Farid Khan has been working in private practice in Brisbane for the past thriteen years, providing a high standard of dental care. He has regularly presented at dental continuing education courses, training other dental professionals on aspects of toothwear and dental erosion. Over the years, as Director of the Queensland Dental Group he has been heavily involved in organising dental continuing professional development events and most recently the 'Dental Update 2012' event which was opened by the Minister of Health. He has completed all his dental training at the University of Queensland. He maintains memberships with various professional organisations.
