Welcome to Ivanhoe Speech Therapy, where we recognise children learn better when playing and having fun. We aim to move away from traditional 'table-top' therapy and engage children in play-based interventions designed around their interests and strengths. We offer a full range of Speech Therapy services, including: Speech sound development Verbal dyspraxia, childhood apraxia of speech Expressive language Receptive language Stuttering Selective mutism Literacy skill development Listening, attention and concentration skills Cognition and play skills Social skill development Communication difficulties are not uncommon. If left untreated they can lead to lifelong difficulties. Early intervention is the key to helping your child be the best they can be to succeed academically and socially. At Ivanhoe Speech Therapy we run regular new parents information sessions. These groups are designed around the children's ages and developmental stages, and provide a wonderful opportunity to ask all those questions that crop up when you are new to parenting. We are ideally located for people in Ivanhoe East and surrounding areas, including Ivanhoe, Eaglemont, Bulleen, Balwyn North, Kew East and Alphington.
