Overview
Olivia has a Master of Speech Pathology from The University of Melbourne and a background of physiology and anatomy.
Her skills range from supporting children with complex communication needs, including with language, speech, fluency (stuttering), and/or hearing impairment. Additionally, she has worked with adults with swallowing and communication difficulties. Olivia has experiences in different settings including private practise, community health, acute hospitals, and rehabilitation centres. She also has a strong commitment to advocating for her clients within their community from kindergartens to family members.
With a strong multicultural background, Olivia has excellent communication skills as she is comfortable with interacting with people of all cultures and lifestyles. Olivia is very committed to supporting her clients and their families’ to the best of her abilities. She continually keeps up to date with the best evidence based research and therapies through workshops and special interests groups. She has completed the Lidcombe Program training to treat children who stutter.
