Dermascan is a Plastic Surgeon led skin check clinic. Mr Stephen Salerno is a Melanoma expert with almost 20 years experience and he leads a growing team of highly trained nurses who use cutting edge technology to carefully perform comprehensive skin checks.

We also have in house facilities that enable us to perform biopsies, formal skin cancer excisions and more complex surgeries such as split skin grafts and flaps.

We have a number of lasers that speed up healing and improve the cosmetic appearance of surgical scars.

Dermascan gives you peace of mind from the skin check to the surgery to the recovery all under the same roof.

Our services

At Dermascan we offer two different types of skin checks.

1. Total Body Skin Check $180 for up to 5 photos and $240 for more than five photos.

During this skin check the Nurse Melanographer checks your whole skin from top to toe including your scalp and between your toes. They will use our high resolution cameras to photograph any lesion that they believe requires biopsy or ongoing surveillance. A report including any photos taken will be sent to you and to your GP.

2. Total Body Mole Mapping $330

This skin check also involves the manual skin check with photos as required but it also includes whole body shots that remain in the software and as you present year upon year the AI will immediately identify those lesions that were there previously and have remained the same, those that have changed and those that developed since the last skin check. You have peace of mind that your skin is thoroughly checked by the Melanographer but also by our cutting edge software.

When you book a Dermascan online we take a $100 deposit and you are free to decide on the day of the skin check which type of skin check you would like.

We always allocate a full hour for your skin check so that you dont feel rushed.
