Billing policy
We are a private billing practice. Payment is required at the time of consultation. Currently there is no Medicare rebate available for a Vectra scan. Due to the Vectra scanners high-definition technology, lesion detection will likely be considerably more than any other previous skin checks and therefore ongoing appointments may be required. Consultations for dermoscopy and/or treatment of Melanoma or other skin cancers do receive a partial rebate from Medicare.
