Repeat Prescription Policy
To ensure safe, effective, and clinically appropriate prescribing, our practice has the following policy regarding repeat prescriptions:
Patients may request repeat prescriptions only if they have been reviewed by a doctor within our practice in the last 12 months.
Clinical Review Requirement
If you have not been seen by a practice doctor within the past 12 months, you will be asked to book an appointment before further repeat medication can be issued.
Certain medications may require more frequent reviews depending on clinical guidance and your individual treatment plan.
Requesting Repeat Prescriptions
Requests should be made through the practice’s approved channels (e.g., online services, prescription box, or pharmacy request system).
Please allow up to 48–72 hours for processing.
Patient Responsibility
Patients are encouraged to monitor when their medication reviews are due and to book appointments in a timely manner to avoid delays.
