This is a private billing service, and payment authorisation must be completed at the time of the request with payment taken at time of the referral approval.
This service is for ongoing referrals only and referrals cannot be backdated. Patients must have seen the doctor face-to-face in the last 12 months.
Each referral request submission is assessed by a practitioner who will approve the request on clinical grounds, or will provide a reason if the request is rejected. In the case of a rejection, you may be required to have a consultation with your practitioner.
