Each submission is assessed by a practitioner who will approve the request on clinical grounds, or will provide a reason if the request is rejected. In the case of a rejection, you may be required to have a consultation with your practitioner.
Payment must be made before the release of any administrative document.
Requests will typically be processed within 5–10 business days, depending on clinician availability.
Urgent requests may attract an additional surcharge.
The file request fee depends on the amount of information to be processed and may range from $125.00 to $185.00.
Administrative fees are not covered by Medicare, NDIS, DVA, or private health funds.
