PHILOSOPHY OF PRACTICEHoda uses a therapeutic approach that is best described as person centred, trauma-informed and evidence based. He is well trained in psychodynamic and existential psychotherapies, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, eye movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness-based approaches. He can use a number of these approaches that best suit you.
His intention is firstly to build a strong therapeutic relationship so as to work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your mental health and well-being goals. In doing so, he will focus on you as a whole. Together you will figure out who you are at your core, explore your story and what you want in life. You will make sense of your existential struggles and choices, and ultimately, what gives your life meaning.
