About Erfan

Life can be complex and overwhelming, yet I am continually inspired by the resilience people show in the face of adversity. I believe each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and move toward a more authentic and grounded life. As a Psychologist in clinical practice, my role is to walk alongside clients - helping them make sense of their experiences, strengthen self-understanding, and feel more empowered in navigating challenges.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity. I create a safe, supportive space where individuals and couples feel genuinely heard and understood. Therapy is tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Schema Therapy, CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-focussed Therapy, ACT, DBT, EFT, and the Gottman Method.

I have worked across public, private, and community settings with older adolescents and adults, supporting presentations such as anxiety, depression, stress & burnout, trauma and PTSD, couples therapy, neurodivergence (ADHD and autism), relationship difficulties, adjustment and transition difficulties, OCD, grief & loss, and chronic pain and illnesses. I am a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and queer-friendly practitioner.

I have the following special interests:

  • Anxiety, OCD, Burnout & Stress-Related Conditions (including phobias, burnout and emotional regulation difficulties)
  • Depression & Mood Disorders (including self-esteem, confidence and personality vulnerabilities)
  • Trauma & PTSD (acute, complex and injury-related trauma presentations)
  • Relationships, Attachment & Sexual Wellbeing (couples therapy, interpersonal difficulties and parenting adjustment)
  • ADHD, Autism & Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy
  • Difficult Life Transitions & Adjustment; and Grief
  • Chronic Pain; Invisible Illnesses; Health Anxiety & Chronic Health-Related Presentations
