Three Waters Psychology Clinic offers a range of interventions for children, adolescents and adults. Our psychologists are endorsed in a variety of areas of practice and have extensive experience assessing and providing intervention.
Educational and Developmental Psychology
We offer assessments for developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, intellectual impairment, giftedness and more. These assessments are useful for identfying problems, informing planning for behaviour management and education support, and as part of the process for registering with NDIS.
Interventions involve working with individuals and families to provide optimal outcomes at home and school. This may include behaviour modification, counter-intuitive parenting strategies, attachment based interventions, third-wave behavioural approaches and more.
Our counselling psychologists work with children, adults, families and couples. Counselling psychology focuses on assessment and intervention for a variety of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, personality problems, trauma, substance use etc. They are experienced with clients across the lifespan, including those with more complex difficulties. Approaches include third-wave behavioural approaches, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative approaches, psychodynamic therapy, attachment based approaches, family system interventions and more.
Clinical psychologists provide assessment and intervention for a variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, substance use problems and more. Our clinical psychologists are experienced with complex individuals, systems and family presentations. This includes those coming from a child protection or family court background and people from CaLD communities. Interventions include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, relational frame therapy, family systems appraches and attachment based interventions
