Denise is a registered psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society with over 20 years’ experience in the private and public education sector as a psychologist working therapeutically to support children, adolescents, parents, and families.

Denise is a compassionate and approachable psychologist who creates a safe, warm, and respectful space for her clients to feel valued and heard.

Denise uses evidence-based clinical practice combined with a strength-based approach to support her client with their well-being and life challenges, whilst building their capacity for positive change and growth.

Denise works with clients with a variety of issues including;

Denise is also experienced in conducting assessments to explore cognitive capacity, and screening and assessment of attention and learning concerns.

Her training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Restorative Practice, Emotion Coaching and Positive Parenting.

Denise works with children (clients aged 7 + years), adolescents, young adults, parents and families to achieve long term change.

Denise runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Appointment duration: 51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $225.00 per appointment

Children under 18: $240:00 per appointment

Families: $250.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you can not attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.
