Martha is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s in Business and a background in Human Resources. She has experience across organisational and clinical settings, working extensively with refugees, trauma survivors, and diverse cultural groups. She supports primarily adults and adolescents.

Her personal and professional paths are deeply connected through her long-standing commitment to self-inquiry and personal development. As a yoga and meditation practitioner, she has spent many years in Dharamsala, India, studying the Buddhist Science of Mind—an ancient system exploring the nature and potential of the mind.

Modern neuroscience supports the benefits of mindfulness and meditation, showing these practices can reshape the brain through neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to form new neural connections. Martha integrates these insights into her work to support wellbeing.

She is passionate about combining Buddhist Science of Mind with contemplative neuroscience to promote human flourishing—reducing negative emotions while strengthening positive ones.

Martha views psychotherapy as an inner journey into the mind and emotions, fostering meaningful transformation of both mind and heart.

She is also fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.

Areas of support include:Depression; anxiety and stress; self-worth and confidence; relationships; anger management; emotional regulation; life transitions; grief and loss; trauma and PTSD; suicide prevention; cultural adjustment; existential concerns and purpose.
