Nora Gillespie

Nora is a registered psychologist with 10 years experience working with children (5-18 years) and families across the metro and regional towns of WA.

Nora is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and use principles of Trauma Informed Practices and Applied Behaviour Analysis when working with children and adolescents.

Nora provides psychological support across the lifespan, however has a special interest in child and adolescent wellbeing, including;

• Anxiety disorders (social anxiety, separation anxiety and general anxiety)
• Depression
• Behavioural difficulties
• Developmental delays and disabilities.

Nora is also trained Triple P facilitator who is passionately driven to work with families to prevent, support and manage everyday challenges and behavioural issues, embracing family systems to create change and progress. I have extensive experience in comprehensive diagnostic assessments and adjustment planning in the areas of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Behavioural concerns, Educational concerns / Specific Learning Difficulties, Developmental Delays, and Gifted and Talented.

Nora is an AHPRA approved Supervisor who is keen to support provisional psychologists in their growth and development in the field.

Nora has a caring and empathetic nature, with a strong work ethic and believes in providing a mutually respectful and adaptable approach to best support the needs of clients.
