Annabel Avrahami - Psychologist

Hi, I'm Dr Annabel Avrahami, and I'm a registered clinical psychologist with experience in therapy, assessments, and teaching. My passion is management of anxiety disorders and related symptoms, adult ADHD, and effective communication in relationships and other life domains.

I incorporate various evidence-based methods with a strong emphasis on mindful, assertive, and authentic life style. Those including CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution focused therapy (SFT), paychodynamic, gestalt, and interpersonal therapy (IPT). I also often work from a Schema Therapy framework when relevant, and I'm working towards an official accreditation as a schema therapist. I also utilise a bio-feedback software to assist in identifying early signs of stress and how to self-regulate those more effectively.

My approach to health is holistic, with focus on personal strengths, nurturing of inner resources, and developing resilience to improve emotional, social, physical, and mental well-being.

I follows an integrative model, which is always individually tailored to suit each client and their goals. I believe that psychotherapy is a mutually invested journey of self-exploration, where people are mentored to achieve more meaningful, engaged and flourishing lives.
