Ms Tiffany Brooks

Tiffany is a registered psychologist who provides assessment and evidence-based interventions to clients across a range of presentations, age groups and backgrounds. She has previously been employed in return to work and private settings, with experience working with clients who have concerns related to mood, anxiety, health, trauma, personality, pain, adjustment, grief and loss. Her approach is tailored to the needs of the client, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Tiffany has previously completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at UniSA, followed by a Master of Psychology (Health) at the University of Adelaide. In 2014, she was awarded the Award for Excellence in a Master’s Thesis in Health Psychology. Following her university studies, she completed a Graduate Diploma of Hypnosis with the South Australian Society for Hypnosis. She has also completed the training and supervision required in order to become an official provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy, a gold standard treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She is presently in the process of fulfilling requirements to gain an endorsement in Health Psychology and is a PhD candidate at UniSA, with an interest in research into chronic pain and women’s health conditions. She is presently a PhD candidate at the University of South Australia, working on a project looking into psychology for women’s pelvic pain. Tiffany is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. Her clients can claim a Medicare rebate when referred under a GP Mental Health Care Plan or a through a referral from their Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
