Lynita brings an open, warm and values based style to therapy where she believes everyone deserves to experience positive change and holistic health.
Lynita has experience in private and public health services; this has included health psychology, pain management and rehabilitation in varied settings. Much of Lynita’s training and work has included assisting those who have been affected by trauma and anxiety. She also has ongoing personal and professional interest in optimal health and wellbeing including diet, exercise and behavioural change.
Lynita is passionate about holistic health and blends together methodologies from modern science and ancient teachings to form an integrative health approach. Lynita is also an experienced yoga and meditation teacher. Lynita utilises evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and mindfulness based approaches.
