Ms Rosa Oyta

Rosa has completed a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology, and is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Experience: Rosa has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including psychiatric  hospitals, private clinical practice, and Employment Assistance Program settings, where she assesses and provides individual and group treatment to adults with anxiety and mood disorders, and helping clients manage relationship and work stress, and other related issues. Additionally, she has previously volunteered for 4 years as a telephone counsellor at Lifeline helping people manage distressing times.

Approach: Rosa is a warm therapist who has a gentle and collaborative approach to treatment. She uses mainly a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) approach and incorporates relaxation and mindfulness techniques into her sessions. Her treatment approach is research-based and extremely effective.
