Jo-Elle is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with over twenty years experience specialising in supporting clients to overcome their psychological symptoms to achieve recovery and personal growth.

Through the application of CBT, ACT and Mindfulness principles, Jo-Elle is able to assist clients to stabilise anxiety, mood fluctuation, insomnia, social withdrawal and rebuild their self esteem.

Jo-Elle quickly establishes rapport with clients across a broad range of sectors and backgrounds to explore their challenges and equip them with the tools to resolve their presenting concerns.

Jo-Elle is skilled in the application of CBT, ACT, Brief Solution Focused therapy, Positive Psychology and is an expert in breathing and mindful meditation practices. Jo-Elle’s strengths based approach assists clients to leverage off their unique internal assets to guide their recovery journey.

Jo-Elle possesses in depth experience assisting clients with anxiety, intrusive negative cyclical thoughts and relationship and workplace issues. She is able to equip clients to adopt an optimistic mindset to challenge their unhelpful thoughts to strengthen their confidence and promote wellbeing.

Jo-Elle is registered with Medicare and Private Health Insurers. Jo-Elle can provide critical incident response, carry out risk, vocational and career assessments and is a skilled corporate Trainer and Facilitator.

Qualifications and Memberships

Jo-Elle holds a Degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Wollongong and a Diploma in Applied Psychology. She completed Organisation Psychology studies at the University of Miami, USA and holds a Masters in Psychological Research Methods from The Open University, UK.
