Daniel is a registered psychologist who has experience, interest and training in child, teen, adult, elderly, couples, families and group therapy. His approach is empathetic, person-centred, interactive, collaborative, respectful, research- and science-based, and is designed to treat mental illness, relieve distress, restore and enhance functioning, and prevent relapse.

Daniel’s training has included Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, and Group Therapy.

Daniel’s training and roles have entailed working therapeutically with the following issues: depression, bipolar, anxiety, stress, phobias, anger management, low self-esteem, relationship issues, personality disorders, behaviour problems, trauma and harm, life transition and adjustment issues, grief and loss, body image issues, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, cross-cultural problems, religious issues, sleep disturbance, addictions and substance use issues.
