Overview
Elissa graduated from Curtin University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science (Podiatry).
After graduating, she moved to the northwest of Tasmania and worked for the Tasmanian Health Service, visiting satellite clinics to provide much needed podiatry services. Elissa worked within a multidisciplinary team to educate and treat diabetic patients.
Elissa then moved back to WA and worked in a community health setting providing care to geriatric, diabetic and paediatric patients before taking some time off to start her family. She has worked with Junction Foot and Ankle since her return to the workforce and enjoys treating the wide ranging conditions that present to the clinic.
Elissa also has skills in acupuncture which she uses to help a variety of patients, such as those who suffer from chemotherapy-related conditions and pain.
Elissa really enjoys living in a quiet, bush environment in the hills of Perth. Walking through the bush or sitting by a fire with her husband, children and dog are enjoyed as much as possible.
