Kevin brings an evidence-informed approach to the management of musculoskeletal pain (with a particular interest in spinal pain) with a holistic approach to help clients understand the variety of factors that are known to contribute to pain. This type of ‘mind/body’ approach aims to help you make sense of why you hurt, provide you with practical strategies to help control your pain, and help address other factors that may be relevant in your pain, with the ultimate goal of empowering you to get back to better living. His PhD investigated how movement and posture relate to low back pain, and the findings are quite different to what we once believed! Kevin is also passionate about closing the "evidence to practice gap" (reported to be 17 years) by producing infographics, videos, and a top-rated podcast with world-renowned guests and patient advocates (called Empowered Beyond Pain). He also lectures at Curtin University, is the co-founder of two digital health start-ups and works as a Co-design and Research Manager for Oqea, a digital health start-up. Outside of his career passions, Kevin enjoys the outdoors, videography, and spending time with friends and family.
