Overview
Hena Khant completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2016. She started her career working as a physiotherapist in the Private hospital setting and Aged Care, with particular focus in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation, post- operative management of various orthopaedic, cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and inpatient post-natal services. Hena shifted her focus to private practice as her interest in continence physiotherapy and women’s health progressed whilst working in the Women’s Health Ward at SJOG Murdoch Hospital. She is passionate about providing holistic, patient- centred and evidence- based physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Hena strives to provide each of her client’s with a holistic treatment plan to effectively manage their presenting conditions and empowers them with the knowledge and skills to take charge of their own rehabilitation.
Hena is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has completed the APA Dry Needling course, Laser Safety Course and is currently completing the APA Women's Health Physiotherapy series.
Outside of work you will find Hena spending time with her friends and family, trying new things like rock climbing and stand-up paddle boarding, and her new favourite interest -hiking. She wishes to be able to read more books, aspires to travel and explore the world at some point in her life.
