Mr Jason Wong

Jason is the director and principal physiotherapist at JW Physio.

He was awarded an excellence scholarship to complete a Bachelors of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Since then, he has gained extensive experience managing a variety of musculoskeletal conditions in both hospital and private settings. He has a particular interest in lower limb injuries and chronic pain, having worked with pain specialist physiotherapists and psychologists in the management of chronic neck, low back pain, and osteoarthritis.

Jason has also played high-level football from a young age including representing Australia at the World Youth Cup in Sweden and now, after repeated ACL injuries, has seen first-hand the process of rehabilitation and what it takes to overcome serious injury. He tailors his management around a biopsychosocial approach through a balance of manual therapy and individualised exercise rehabilitation. He is also skilled in the use of dry needling, soft tissue, and cupping.

In his free time Jason is an award-winning photographer, musician, and is plodding his way into the WA triathlon scene.
