Move Well, Stay Well

Precision Physiotherapy & Massage has a number of practices south of Perth's CBD. Our team of practitioners pride ourselves on professional, structured assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Precision Physiotherapy & Massage strives to provide the best possible service to its clients by providing a 7 day service, exercising understanding of the patient’s condition, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base and maintaining a scientific/objective Manual Therapy approach when treating patients. We treat your injury as if it is our own!

Our practices offer a wide range of benefits, including:

  • One-to-one treatment sessions: Our physiotherapists will only treat one client at a time to ensure quality care. We do not 'duck-out' to treat another patient in the next room.
  • 100% hands on manual therapy: No electrical machines, tools, hot-packs or gimmicks. National guidelines do not recommend electrical machines like ultrasound or interferential. Tools or gadgets have short lived benefits (3-5 mins) if any benefit at all! Hot-packs may help relax spasmy muscles temporarily - we will advise if you should do this at home.
  • Professional assessment and treatment: All of the physiotherapists have a professional university standard qualification as a minimum requirement. We operate as an evidence based practice, only using clinical approaches proven and recommended through research and national guidelines. We have a professional development program to keep us up to date with current evidence-based guidelines. Our senior physiotherapist, Dr Aubrey Monie, who attends and oversees our professional development is highly qualified (PhD, BSc Physio., Grad.Dip. Sports Manual Therapy, M.Med.Sc. (Thesis: shoulder JPS), Master of Manual Therapy, Dry needling since 2000).
  • Wide variety of techniques: We use a multi-modal approach, including Joint mobilisation, Joint manipulation "Click", Myofascial techniques, Trigger points, Myofascial Dry Needling (optional at no extra cost), prescription exercise programs, nerve desensitising and mobilising, conditioning and more...
  • Personalised programs: You won't just get a pre-printed hand-out. We consider your condition as well as your work, sports, hobbies and goals. Your rehabilitation plan revolves around your condition and lifestyle.
  • Ability to refer for X-rays and MRI: If we see the need, we can refer directly for X-rays or MRI. X-rays of spinal regions e.g. neck and/or back can be done at no cost to the patient.
  • Patients managed under workers compensation, motor vehicle insurance, department of veterans affairs and Medicare care plans are welcome.

Private patients do not require a referral. Patients seeking insurance compensation from a motor vehicle accident (MVA), Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) or work related injury will require a referral from their G.P.

Please bring any relevant X-rays or radiological scans. If you do not have X-rays the physiotherapist is able to refer you for them if required, at little or no cost. We are also able to refer for MRI if we think it is necessary.

Our Brentwood practice is located at 67 Cranford Avenue, opposite the Brentwood Village shops. We sublease a room inside Brentwood Village Medical Centre. Parking and entry is via the rear of the building and there is ample parking on site. For those using public transport the Bull Creek Train Station is closest, and buses stop nearby on Adamson Road or Bateman Road. We would be well located for any patients in the areas of Mount Pleasant, Applecross, Bateman, Booragoon, Winthrop, Bull Creek, Rossmoyne, Willetton, Murdoch, and Ardross.

With our convenient online booking service, booking an appointment is easy and can be done at any time. To get started now, simply click on your preferred appointment time from the options displayed at the top of the page.
