Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic has been serving the local community since 2006, helping people just like you recover from their injuries and mishaps. We specialise in the accurate diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, and offer a wide range of treatment options, from manual therapy to Clinical Pilates, dry needling to myofascial therapy, exercise rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and more.

All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, so you can be sure your injury is in the best possible hands!

Our clinic includes a Clinical Pilates Studio and Gymnasium, Private Rooms, and an extensive range of treatment equipment. 

There are a range of other health services available nearby should you need them. These include dental, pathology, GP, and pharmacy services, as well as other allied health services. This makes our location an ideal destination to attend to all your healthcare needs. 

As a private billing practice, we strive to provide the highest quality services for our patients.  If you have ancillary cover for Physiotherapy as part of your Private Health Insurance, some of the cost of treatment will in all likelihood be covered, how much will depend on your individual level of cover. Private patients are eligible to claim for a rebate from their Private Health Fund for services received by a Physiotherapist. We offer the HICAPS facility onsite, so the claim is processed immediately and you only have to pay the gap. Not all Private Health funds support HICAPS but we can check this on the day for you.

If you are seeking treatment for an injury sustained at work or after a motor vehicle accident, you will require a doctor’s referral to allow us to claim directly from your insurer. Also, if your doctor has referred you to physiotherapy under a Medicare funded Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC), we will require a copy of that specific referral to claim your treatment costs from Medicare.

If you are covered under the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA), we require a current referral from your doctor for Physiotherapy services. DVA referrals are valid for 12 months. There is no gap when claiming through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

We are located on Abernethy Road directly opposite the Belmont Forum shopping precinct. Plenty of parking is available at the front of our Clinic, and a convenient drive through undercover 'drop off' outside our door is available for those with impaired mobility. For those using public transport a number of buses stop outside our clinic, including the 39, 285, 286, 287, 288, 293, and 298. We would be well located for anyone in the areas of Kewdale, Rivervale, Ascot, Redcliffe, Victoria Park, Cloverdale, Carlisle, Welshpool, and Guildford.
